Below is what each provider gives away in the CAT 2026 cycle, checked on the same six points, with prices as listed on their own websites.
Provider | Free full length mocks | Login needed |
|---|---|---|
3, plus 3 free tests every weekday on the day of release | Yes, Google sign in | |
2 plus, with 3 past CAT slot papers | Yes | |
2, both past CAT papers offered as mocks | Yes, free sign up | |
1 | Yes | |
18 past CAT papers from 2020 to 2025, attemptable inline | No sign in for the past papers |

Sectional practice is where the free tiers differ most. A full-length mock costs you two hours. A sectional costs you forty minutes, which is the difference between practising on a weekday and not practising at all.
Provider | Free sectional tests | Solutions with the free tier |
|---|---|---|
Career Launcher | 80 plus sectional and topic tests across VARC, DILR and QA | Yes, with performance analysis |
iQuanta | 6, two each for QA, LRDI and VARC | Yes, video solutions |
Cracku | 3, one each for Quant, LRDI and Verbal | Yes, video solutions |
Percentyl | Chapter-wise topic tests, Quant live, DILR and VARC in development | Yes, worked solutions |
2IIM | None free. The 12 sectionals sit inside the paid pack | Free PYQ solution PDFs are open |
A mock with no analysis is a scorecard, not a study tool. This is the point where several free tiers stop being useful.
Provider | What the free tier reports |
|---|---|
Cracku | All India rank, percentile, time spent on each question, topic wise strengths |
Career Launcher | Section wise accuracy, time tracking, peer benchmarking, percentile predictor |
iQuanta | Sectional and overall percentile, error patterns. Error tracker and B school predictor are paid |
2IIM | Scores, solutions, time per question, percentile against other test takers |
Percentyl | Worked solutions on every question, plus a daily challenge leaderboard |
Provider | Cheapest paid mock pack | What you get |
|---|---|---|
2IIM | Rs 1,499 for the full test series | Rs 2,699 pack adds 30 mocks plus 12 sectionals |
Cracku | Rs 1,999 | 25 full length mocks with video solutions, 36 past papers |
Career Launcher | Rs 5,900 after discount | 31 full length mocks, 2,260 plus topic questions, live analysis |
iQuanta | Not published on the site | iCAT 2.0 series, 35 mocks plus 45 sectionals plus 24 past papers |
Percentyl | Nothing is paid | Every surface on the site is free |
Prices as listed on 20 August 2026. This sector discounts continuously, so treat any figure older than a month as stale.
For the first month of mock season, yes. The job of an early mock is to tell you where the damage is, not to predict a percentile. Three free full length papers plus a stack of sectionals will do that.
The case for paying starts later. Percentile prediction gets meaningful only when a large cohort attempts the same paper on the same day. That is what the paid national series sells. It is a reasonable thing to buy in October.
One warning about free mocks generally. Difficulty calibration varies a lot between providers, so a 96 percentile on one platform is not a 96 percentile on another. Compare your own scores across time on one platform rather than across platforms.
Past CAT papers are the only material with guaranteed exam level difficulty, because they were the exam. They are free everywhere and underused almost everywhere.
Percentyl hosts every paper from CAT 2020 to CAT 2025 as 18 full papers and 1,230 questions with worked solutions, attemptable in the browser with no sign in, at percentyl.in/pyq. Chapter-wise timed practice sits at percentyl.in/mock-tests/topic-tests. The free mock directory covering other providers sits at percentyl.in/resources/mocks.
CAT 2026 falls on Sunday, 29 November. Counting from late August, a workable pattern is one full-length mock a week through September, two a week through October, then three a week in November with the last one about five days before the exam.
That comes to roughly 20 to 25 full mocks. The free tiers on this page cover the first six or seven, which is most of September.
Cracku & Percentyl offer free full-length mocks plus three free daily tests on the day they are released. Career Launcher gives fewer full length mocks but far more free sectional and topic tests, at over 80.
On the paid providers, no. All four require an account. Percentyl allows past CAT papers to be attempted inline without signing in. The official IIM mock on iimcat.ac.in needs no registration when it goes live in November 2026.
No. Free mocks are usually calibrated slightly easier or harder than the real paper. Each provider calibrates differently. Past year CAT papers are the only material guaranteed to match exam difficulty.
It becomes worth it in October, when percentile prediction needs a large cohort attempting the same paper on the same day. Before that, free mocks and past papers give you the same diagnostic information.
Cracku starts at Rs 1,999 for 25 mocks and 2IIM at Rs 1,499 for its test series. Career Launcher lists Rs 5,900 after discount for 31 mocks. iQuanta does not publish a price on its website.
