Vedica Scholars runs rolling admission rounds and the published calendar for the Class of 2026-27 has already run through and is in its final stretch. The programme still lists applications for the September 2026 cohort as open, which is the final window for you to grab the limited seats available.
One thing to know about the round structure: scholarships are decided within the round you are admitted in. So even if you apply now, you can still get a scholarship based on your profile.
This is the part most aspirants find hard to believe. There is no entrance exam at all. You fill an online form. If you are shortlisted you sit for an online interview. The interview covers your background, your goals, why Vedica Scholars and often a question on current affairs or workplace trends.
Think about what that changes. CAT compresses your entire candidature into a percentile, then a shortlist algorithm weighs your class 10 and 12 marks against a bell curve you cannot argue with. Vedica reads the whole person: what you studied, what you have done, how you speak, what you want. If you have a strong story but a maths phobia or a bad exam day in your history, that story finally counts for something.
And since there is no application fee, the cost of trying is a few evenings of honest writing. That is a rare risk-free option in Indian admissions.
Vedica Scholars is built on four tracks that run together instead of a set of specialisations. There are no majors here. Everyone graduates a generalist by design.
Pillar | What you build |
|---|---|
Mastering Management Practice | Core business, problem solving and decision making, taught around real practice |
Thinking and Communicating for Impact | Writing, speaking and holding a room, supported by the Vedica Writing and Communication Centre |
Learning from the Liberal Arts | History, literature, politics and the wider world that business sits inside |
Taking Charge of Personal Growth | Confidence, negotiation, networking and visibility, worked on with mentors |
There is also a Vedica Quantitative Centre for scholars who come in from a non-maths background, plus a "Readiness Before Rigour" phase that gets everyone to a common floor before the heavy courses begin. If numbers scare you, that is a structural answer to the problem, not a pep talk.
This is Vedica Scholars’s real differentiator. It is worth more than the brochure suggests. Every scholar spends five weeks, in-person shadowing a senior woman leader. Not a project. Not a guest lecture. You sit in her meetings, work on her problems and watch how decisions get made.
The mentor list runs past 150 women across business, media, policy, development and the arts. A sample from the current pool: Alka Srivastava, Head of Underwriting at Mahindra Finance. Shobhini Mukerji, Executive Director of J-PAL South Asia. Anantika Singh, CSR Head at Pernod Ricard. Anushri Verma, Vice President of HR at Kotak Mahindra Bank. Bhavya Sharma, Senior Director of Corporate Communication and ESG at Urban Company. Mentors often stay in a scholar’s life long after the five weeks end. Some scholars end up working with the organisations they shadowed. No two-year MBA hands you that kind of access in your first year.
The total fee for the September 2026 cohort is INR 12.5* Lakhs, taxes included. That splits into INR 8,60,000 of tuition and INR 2,00,000 of hostel fee for January to December 2027, with 18 percent GST on top.
Payment | Amount | Due |
|---|---|---|
Initial deposit | INR 88,500 | As stated in your offer letter |
First instalment | INR 4,53,120 | 10 September 2026 |
Second instalment | INR 3,39,840 | 10 February 2027 |
Third instalment | INR 3,39,840 | 10 June 2027 |
Total | INR 12,50,800 |
Pay the whole fee upfront and you get a waiver of INR 40,000. Scholarships themselves come in three flavours, need-based, merit-based and diversity. You apply for them after you have an admission offer. Education loans can cover up to 100 percent of the cost, including residence and living expenses.
Vedica promises 100% placement support with a transformational journey for every scholar. It lists 300+ recruiters and a 93% retention rate after graduation. The headline average is 10 LPA.
What matters is what those numbers mean for you. Graduates go into consulting, FMCG, technology, finance, research, development and public policy, in roles like analyst, associate, business analyst, brand manager, growth manager and management trainee. Rohit Kapoor, CEO- Food Marketplace at Swiggy,, has said what stands out in Vedica Scholars is their confidence and communication. Core Diagnostics has hired from the programme for three years running.
So here is the honest framing. If your goal is a strong first corporate role, a network of women who will pick up your call for the next twenty years plus no lost year, the arithmetic works. Especially when the alternative is a second CAT attempt with a 2 percent shot at an older IIM.
If you want the degree tag later, Vedica has an academic partnership with Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Graduates get exemptions from three core MBA courses, Strategic Marketing, Financial Decision Making and Delivering and Executing Strategy, plus a discounted fee. You finish the remaining courses online at your own pace and come out with a Heriot-Watt MBA. You have to apply within three years of graduating from Vedica. It is open to Vedica alumni only.
Apply if you are a woman graduate from any discipline who wants a management career, you would rather be assessed on your whole profile than on one exam.
Applying costs nothing. In a country where a CAT form alone runs into thousands and coaching into lakhs, that is not a small thing.
Do you need a CAT score for the Vedica Scholars Programme?
No. Vedica requires no entrance exam of any kind, including CAT, XAT and GMAT. Admission runs on an online application followed by an interview, so your academic record, work, extracurriculars and goals are assessed together.

No. There is no application fee. You pay nothing until you receive an offer, at which point an initial deposit of INR 88,500 secures your seat.
