Entrance test
CUCET, Chandigarh University's own online test, is compulsory for the MBA; only candidates with more than 90% in graduation are exempt. A CUCET score of 30 or more makes a candidate eligible
National tests
CU names no national test as a route in place of CUCET; CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA and XAT scores are used for a fee scholarship
Selection
Chandigarh University publishes no selection weights and names no group discussion or interview for the MBA: clearing CUCET makes a candidate eligible to apply, and the score sets the scholarship.

CUCET: 100 multiple-choice questions in 120 minutes, taken online from home, with no negative marking. It runs in two phases with two attempts in each; the best score counts and the result comes a day after the test
After clearing CUCET the candidate applies for admission. The CUCET score sets a scholarship on the fee: in Phase I, 15% for a score of 40–49.99, rising to 100% above 90 (Phase II, 10% to 100%). Scholarships are renewed each year on a CGPA of 7.5
Scholarship on national tests (2026–27, for up to 10% of each programme's seats; not for CU's industry-collaborated MBAs): CAT 80% and above, 50% of the semester fee; 75–79.99%, 25%; 70–74.99%, 10%. MAT, CMAT, ATMA or XAT 90% and above, 25%; 85–89.99%, 20%
About CU USB
Chandigarh University was established in 2012 under an Act of the Punjab legislature, and its University School of Business has run a two-year MBA since the same year at the university's campus in Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab. Students choose two specialisations within the MBA and are admitted through CUCET, the university's own online entrance test. The university also offers separate MBAs designed with industry partners.
