Degree: A full-time, regular undergraduate degree in any discipline with 60% or a CGPA of 6.5 (55% or a CGPA of 6.0 for SC, ST and PwD candidates). CGPA: NIT Trichy does not convert between CGPA and percentage; where a mark sheet shows both, only the CGPA is considered. Entrance test: A CAT 2025 percentile for the 2026–28 batch; a score from an earlier CAT is not accepted. Final-year students: May apply with a CAT 2025 percentile; admission is provisional until the degree is completed with the minimum marks, which must be shown by 30 September 2026. Category certificates: Gen-EWS and OBC-NCL applicants need certificates dated between April 2025 and March 2026, or are considered under General; state-issued BC or MBC certificates do not count as OBC-NCL. Foreign nationals: Foreign nationals, PIOs, OCIs and NRIs are admitted to the MBA through the Government of India's DASA scheme, which asked for a GMAT score of at least 480 for the MBA in its 2025 cycle. A floor to be considered — not the score that got admitted.
