About

SDA Bocconi Asia Center, established in Mumbai in 2012, is the pan-Asian hub of SDA Bocconi School of Management, Italy. Its flagship International Master in Business (IMB) is a 22-month, full-time postgraduate management programme designed for graduates and early-career professionals. The programme combines management fundamentals, case-based learning, simulations, corporate exposure and international experience, with an entire academic term conducted at Bocconi’s campus in Milan.

The IMB curriculum covers areas such as finance, marketing, data analytics, strategy, operations, human resources and entrepreneurship, followed by elective choices that allow students to build a concentration during the Milan term. Students also complete a two-month internship and a CSR internship as part of the programme. The current brochure highlights a cohort size of 346 students, with 52% female representation and students coming from 23 Indian states and union territories.

For the 2026 placement season, SDA Bocconi Asia Center reported an average package of ₹14.01 lakh and a highest package of ₹40 lakh, with more than 90 recruiters participating. The average package for the top 25% of the batch stood at ₹17.40 lakh. The institute’s recruiter pool spans sectors such as consulting, BFSI, technology, FMCG, retail and manufacturing.

Admission to the IMB is based on a holistic evaluation of academics, entrance-test performance, work experience, extracurricular achievements and the personal interview. For the 2027–29 batch, SDA Bocconi accepts CAT, GMAT, NMAT, GRE and its own Bocconi Test. The programme also offers merit-based tuition waivers of 30%, 50% and 80%, along with additional scholarships for academic excellence, leadership and co-curricular achievement.
