XLRI – Xavier School of Management, established in 1949, is one of India’s oldest and most prominent business schools. Its flagship two-year PGDM in Business Management is offered from the Jamshedpur campus and has an intake of around 240 students. XLRI is particularly known for its strong academic reputation, selective admissions, experienced faculty and long-standing relationships with leading recruiters.
For the 2026 placement season, the combined BM and HRM graduating cohort across the Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses reported an average package of ₹31.4 lakh and a median package of ₹29 lakh.
