Great Lakes Institute of Management has opened admissions for its flagship programs at the Chennai and Gurgaon campuses. Great Lakes Chennai is one of the few b-schools in India with both AACSB (US) and AMBA (UK) accreditations, apart from being in the Tier 1 category of the domestic NBA accreditation. If you're planning your MBA applications this season, this is one worth adding to your list.
PGDM (2-Year MBA): This is a full-time program built for graduates with 0-3 years experience. The curriculum covers marketing, finance, operations, strategy and analytics, along with industry interaction and experiential learning through live projects and internships. You need a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, and work experience is not required for eligibility.
PGPM (1-Year MBA): This one is for working professionals who want to fast-track their career without spending two years away from work. Candidates with 2 to 10 years of work experience are considered, and the program is offered at both the Chennai and Gurgaon campuses.
How to apply: You can apply using valid CAT, XAT or GMAT scores, and NMAT is also accepted for PGPM. Shortlisted candidates who clear an AI interview are invited for a personal interview with the admissions panel, after which the committee evaluates the complete profile and releases offers. If you apply to both campuses, both selection committees evaluate your application, and you may get an offer from either, both or neither.
