IBSAT 2026 applications open: December exam across 9 IBS campuses, Rs 1,800 fee
IBSAT 2026 applications are open for MBA and PGPM admission to nine IBS campuses. The exam runs over the first four weekends of December 2026.
ICFAI Business School (IBS) has opened IBSAT 2026 applications for its two-year full-time MBA and PGPM programmes for the 2027-29 session. One application covers all nine IBS campuses. IBS Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur and Dehradun offer the MBA; IBS Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad and Kolkata offer the PGPM.
The IBSAT 2026 exam is held over the first four weekends of December 2026, across eight test slots. Slot capacity is limited, so applying early gives you a better chance at your preferred date and time. The application fee is Rs 1,800.
The test is remote and online proctored, so you take it from home. It has 140 questions in 120 minutes across Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Adequacy and Interpretation. There is no negative marking and no sectional time limit. Results and scholarship allotment letters are released on the Monday immediately following each weekend test.
Eligibility is graduation in any discipline with 50 percent or above, with English as the medium of instruction, and a minimum of 15 years of education under a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern. Final-year students may apply. If your graduation was not in English you may need a valid TOEFL, NELT or IELTS score.
You can also apply to IBS with a valid CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC or GMAT score instead of taking IBSAT, subject to the applicable admission requirements. IBS has announced a scholarship programme worth Rs 10 crore for this cycle, comprising 500 scholarships of Rs 2 lakh each, subject to terms and conditions.
