MAT December 2026 registration open; PBT on 20 December, CBT on 27 December
AIMA has opened MAT December 2026 registration and released the schedule for both paper based and computer based modes.
The All India Management Association has opened registration for the MAT December 2026 session and published the full schedule for both test modes.
For the Paper Based Test, registration closes on 14 December 2026, the admit card is released on 17 December 2026, and the test is held on 20 December 2026. For the Computer Based Test, registration closes on 21 December 2026, the admit card is released on 24 December 2026, and the test is held on 27 December 2026.
The fee is 2,300 rupees for a single mode, either PBT or CBT, and 4,000 rupees if you register for both PBT and CBT together, which is a concession over paying twice. The December session is conducted across 67 test cities.
MAT has five sections of 30 questions each: Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, and Economic and Business Environment. That is 150 questions in 120 minutes, with negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer. All five sections count toward your score.
MAT scores are accepted by more than 600 business schools across India and are valid for one year. AIMA has stated that MAT December 2026 results will be declared by the first week of January 2027. If you are also writing CAT on 29 November, MAT in late December is a useful second window.
