MICA Ahmedabad admissions open for PGDM and PGDM-C 2027; CAT, XAT or GMAT score mandatory

MICA Ahmedabad has opened admissions for its two-year full-time residential PGDM and PGDM-C (Communications) programmes for 2027.

Every candidate must have taken at least one of CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or GMAT (2025 onwards). This is mandatory. After you receive your CAT score, XAT registration number or GMAT score, you must update the details on the MICA website on or before 30 January 2027. For XAT, mention only your registration number and MICA will collect the score from XLRI.

All candidates are also assessed on the MICA Admission Test (MICAT), which has three sections: a Psychometric Test, a Descriptive Test, and an Aptitude Test covering Divergent and Convergent Thinking, Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation.

Application fee is Rs 2,500 per programme, plus Rs 500 per additional programme payable if you are shortlisted for interview.

PGDM-C has an intake of 180 seats with indicative fees of Rs 29.50 lakhs. Eligibility is a bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline recognised by the AIU. Final-year students may apply but must submit a certificate from their institution by 30 June 2027, with the final mark sheet due by 31 December 2027.

If you are merit-listed for more than one programme, you must accept the offer for only one, and the programme choice cannot be changed once confirmed. MICAT will be held in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and around 40 other cities.
