SNAP 2026 adds a fourth section: Ethics, Morality and Values, worth 10 of 60 marks
The official SNAP 2026 bulletin confirms a four-section paper. English drops to 10 questions and reasoning to 20 to make room for EMV.
The official SNAP 2026 Information Bulletin confirms that SNAP is no longer a three-section test. The SNAP Test 2026 structure is now four sections across 60 questions and 60 minutes, each question carrying 1 mark for a correct answer.
The breakdown is: General English 10 questions and 10 marks; Analytical and Logical Reasoning 20 questions and 20 marks; Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency 20 questions and 20 marks; Ethics, Morality and Values 10 questions and 10 marks. Total 60 questions and 60 marks.
This means General English has been cut from 15 questions to 10 and Analytical and Logical Reasoning from 25 to 20, with the 10 freed-up questions going to the new EMV section.
EMV carries one-sixth of the paper, so it is worth preparing for rather than guessing through. Symbiosis is releasing an EMV mock test on October 7, 2026 and an EMV question bank on October 8, 2026 to candidates who complete their SNAP application by October 5, 2026.
SIU notes that depending on unavoidable circumstances the schedule and the nature or structure of the test can change at its discretion. Both SNAP tests will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode and the duration is 60 minutes.
