only solving daily challenge might not work bcoz those are application based questions... so you should strengthen your basics first for maths and develop reading habit (articles, editorials etc) and solve hard level puzzles and sudoku

solving questions is the second step, youre skipping the first one
the first step is going through lectures to first understand concepts and then learn various short methods to solve questions
then go through solved examples of those concepts. this is how you build foundation
after that, lots of daily practice and youre good to go
