Hii Aradhya,
First of all, calm down. CAT is not about which IIM sets the paper — it’s about how well you adapt during those 2 hours. Yes, IIM Indore usually gives lengthy VARC, tough LRDI, and tricky QA, but remember: the paper is tough for everyone, not just for you.
And honestly, coaching alone does NOT decide percentile. Many 99+ scorers prepared from YouTube, previous year papers, and self-study. Since your offline coaching is irregular, stop depending completely on it. Use it only as support and build your own system.
For VARC:
Read daily for 1–2 hours (editorials, Aeon essays, psychology/history articles).
Practice RCs every day with timer.
Focus on accuracy, not attempts.
For LRDI:
This section improves only with practice.
Solve 2–4 good sets daily.
Initially take hints, then redo without help.
CAT LRDI is about selection of sets, not solving all.
For QA:
Strengthen arithmetic + algebra first.
Maintain formula/revision notebook.
Solve previous year CAT questions repeatedly.
And about 99.90 percentile — yes, it is possible, but don’t make percentile your daily target. Your target should be:
“Did I improve today compared to yesterday?”
If you consistently study 6–8 focused hours for the next months, analyze mocks properly, and stay mentally strong, you can absolutely reach top IIM level.
And one more thing:
IIM Ahmedabad does NOT care whether you studied online/offline or from expensive coaching. They care about your CAT score, academics, profile, and interview.
So stop thinking:
“Do I have enough resources?”
Start thinking:
“Am I using my current resources fully?”
That mindset changes everything.
