Burnout of this prep

Asked by Anonymous on 2026-08-22 in CAT Prep

I know I have the ability—I’ve hit 92–94th percentile and scored 49 in VARC, so I’m not starting from zero—but my performance swings wildly from a 9 to a 94, and I can’t tell anymore if that’s because of gaps in Algebra/Geometry or because I’m just running on empty. I’ve been studying inconsistently for weeks, my mind feels blocked, and even when I rest I don’t really feel rested. Then I feel guilty because I know I’m capable of doing more, which makes it even harder to restart properly. And the closer November gets, the more ‘100 percentile’ feels like a number crushing me instead of a goal pulling me forward. I don’t know if I need to study harder, study less, rest more, or just learn to trust that what I’ve already proven I can do is actually who I am on a normal day

Don't Think Keep on Going, whatever your efforts are, it will lead to better understanding and practice in decent manner, over doing anything doesn't confirm your seat, your ability does, so focus on improving in consistent way,
Again don't focus on Percentile now focus on strengthening topics and ability to solve test within time efficiently and accurately, Do analysis, Identify and Improve.
Ups and downs happen , keep on going, All the Best, You can Do it!
