First, read the passage carefully. Then, identify and note down the keywords that indicate the main topic and central idea of the passage. Finally, use those keywords to match the passage with the most suitable option.

writing para summary has never worked for me. i feel like it slows me down.
here's what i do-
1. read questions first(not options). reading options will create confusion, but reading just questions will give you an idea of what to look out for when reading the passage.
2. questions are of two types, either they require you to read the full passage (eg main purpose of passage, tone, what does the auther agree/disagree with, etc), or they are related to a particular word/phrase/quote. (reading questions first helps you look out for these particular word/phrase/quote)
3. eliminate options such that you are left with only one option. (this will seem time taking at first but its the best way to improve accuracy).
this is my personal opinion and process of solving. i've seen many educators and aspirants advise AGAINST reading questions first but it genuiely helped me and it has reduced my time taken to solve an rc from 8-9 minutes to 4-5 minutes.

Keep it super short! After each para, write just 3–4 keywords on its main point and the author’s tone. At the end, add one line on the passage’s overall idea. Practice this untimed first, speed comes with time.
