Hello everyone. I wanted to ask how I can improve my reading comprehension. Whenever I attempt difficult RC passages, I often struggle to understand them. Sometimes I have to read the same passage two or three times. And for easier ones, that’s okay. But some VRC passages are so tough that no matter how many times I go through them, they just don’t click. For quant, I know practice helps. Same with DILR. I found it really hard at first. But after practicing consistently for a few days and starting with simpler sets, I got the hang of it. But VRC still feels very challenging. I’d really appreciate any guidance or resources you could suggest.

Read very slowly and practice PYQs and dense passages daily. Just like LRDI and quants, Varc will improve with practice. Read hard RCs and don't focus on speed, read slowly and understand everything properly. Solve 3-4 RCs everyday. And always use option elimination while solving questions- you should eliminate the wrong options and should know why this option is correct and why others are wrong. Learn to eliminate options that do not match or broaden or limit the content of the passage.

Personally, for dense passages, I try to filter the heavy words to understand the real meaning author is trying to convey. Not sure if I explained it well.
It comes with time and practice, analysing your right and wrongs and pattern recognition.
Just want to add, it is normal to need to read the passage few times if it's dense or hard. It gets easier with practice.

Read articles, look for the patterns and more importantly undertand the passages and paras properly

What I think is that it will not always be possible to understand the entire passage , sometimes the passage will be difficult. I think our approach should be to understand the logic and structure of the passage, focus more on the beginning and the end of each para, and try to skim unnecessary details such as examples.
