Average student ? Look at your damn grades. You're a very good student. And stop demotivating yourself and looking down on yourself. Results don't decide whether you're good or bad...your hardwork does. Most people can't even get off their bed and study for 1 hr. And don't bother yourself with what other people think- it's your life....don't concern yourself with anyone's opinions. Success is very very psychological. You have to be an optimist and constantly believe in yourself and you'll see doors will open for you.

And yes you can definitely crack CAT starting from now. CAT is not UPSC or NEET with tons of things to memorize or remember. It is an aptitude test, so you practice and practice....and you'll get good at it. You can definitely do it.

Start reading Aeon essays or articles everyday and read slowly and understand everything. Mentally summarize every paragraph that you read. And solve previous year questions. For quants and lrdi- pick the high weightage topics and master them completely and solve lots of Pyqs. And give a lot of mocks.

Don't feel bad about yourself. You can absolutely do it. Believe in yourself and be consistent. Don't listen to the naysayers. People always speak....that shouldn't bother you. All the best!
