CAT 2026 Preparation: How Many Hours Per Day Are Needed for 99+ Percentile?
Asked by Anonymous on 2026-05-30 in CAT Prep
I started my CAT preparation on May 1st, and it has been about a month now. I am targeting CAT 2026 and aiming for a 99+ percentile.
I wanted to understand realistically—how many hours should I be studying per day to achieve this goal? Also, how should I structure my daily preparation to maximize efficiency over the long term?
Would appreciate guidance from those who have achieved or are preparing for a high percentile. Thank you

2-3 hours a day at this stage are more than sufficient. To maximize, think in terms of the portion of syllabus covered than hours. Use the timetable generator, set the weekly target and keep finishing the questions target every week - https://percentyl.in/schedule/plan
