To be honest, I believe LOD 2 test your conceptual clarity whereas LOD 1 are basic practice questions. I believe LOD 1 questions are pretty straightforward because you can see the which concept needs to be applied but with LOD 2 you have to detangle the question and solve it.

Just know that there aren't any new concepts when it comes to LOD 2, its just that the question's language is twisted. Try the questions and if you can't seem to solve them then instead of looking at the solution entirely try taking a hint. If you still aren't able to solve the question then look at the solution, see what concept was applied - did you know the concept beforehand? If yes, then see what got you stuck. If no, then note that concept down.

At the end of the day, its all about conceptual clarity. If you have your concepts clear then you can solve even the hardest questions with the same method you solved the easier ones.

Try understanding the core concept of the question, dont just look at answers, if youre stuck on a question give it 15-20 minutes and try to think what concept is, even a small concept like in Averages, if the average weight is increased by 1 when a person joins, the core concept is that the new guy who joined has soo much weight that he can give 1 kg to everyone thus increasing average by 1. Theres a formula for this, but you need to understand the logic behind that formula.
