CAT Preparation: Understanding concepts in class but unable to solve questions independently

So guys, I’m a final-year B.Com (Hons.) student, and my Maths background is okay-ish. I had Commerce with Applied Mathematics in Class 12, and I also prepared for CA Foundation, so I have a basic understanding of DILR as well.
I started my CAT preparation last week. I haven’t joined any coaching or classes. I’ve watched a few classes online, and I understand the concepts pretty well. I can usually solve the questions along with the teacher, sometimes even before them.
But when I try solving questions on my own, they suddenly feel extremely difficult. I don’t know why this happens, but it’s honestly making me feel very demotivated.
I have enough time and can easily study for 8–9 hours daily, so time isn’t the issue. But when I can’t solve even one question on my own, I start doubting myself.
If anyone has faced something similar or knows why this happens, please help me understand it and guide me on how I should approach my preparation.
Any advice would genuinely mean a lot. ❤️

I have a similar background as yours, so it might seem disheartening to not be able to solve on your own. However, you need to understand the basics first and try solving. Also do try solving questions on your own when you are watching lectures and then seeing the solution. Getting wrong isn't the obstacle here, understanding the concepts are. Also as you just started your prep and less time remaining I can understand you getting anxious. That's normal. However it's too early to give up. Try solving easy practice questions first. Those will build your confidence.

Bro just focus on concepts and start solving easier level sums first that way you would be able to solve most of the sums
