Completed almost the entire CAT syllabus and most PYQs. What should I do for the next 4–5 months?
Asked by Anonymous on 2026-06-24 in CAT Prep
I have completed almost my entire CAT syllabus and have also solved a major chunk of the previous years’ questions across VARC, DILR, and QA. Now I’m confused about what my strategy should be for the next 4–5 months until CAT.
I feel a bit bored because whenever I pick up a topic, it feels like I’ve already studied it. I’m worried that I’m not using my time effectively.
* What should my primary focus be now? * How many mocks and sectionals should I take every week? * How much time should I spend on revision, PYQs, and learning new concepts? * Could you suggest a weekly routine that helped you stay productive without burning out?
Any advice from people who have been through this phase would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First of all, great job on completing it. You can try to focus on your strengths and weakness. Also on your time management/speed. Analyse your mocks. I think this new version has a 'schedule' option. Maybe you can try how it helps you....it's basically a planner. Might give you some direction.
