We are confused about what to offer since earlier they were too easy and now they are probably too difficult, based on the community feedback.
So, let us know and we will modify accordingly.

i have compared the rc of this platform with various platforms the problem here is either the passage is completely out of scope , very very broad , verbatim , lengthy & time consuming + the questions go extremely tough , & longggggg hence all it causes is panic , negative marking & demotivation + frustration & all of this consist to an attitude which resist learning hence i request for content which supports learning not feeling of uselessness . take inspiration from cracku they are doing really well . btw lots of love to the PERCENTYL team

I don't think the issue is the difficulty; it's the style. These RCs don't feel CAT-like. They expect us to grasp highly specialised discussions with very little context. The earlier RCs were much easier than CAT. It would be great if the team could strike a better balance by taking inspiration from CAT PYQs and other major platforms.

Please make answers explanation more clear (unable to analyse the error now))

Fun RC today. I had to use Chatgpt to decipher what the actual passage meant. I think its very comparable to how VARC1000's tougher RC's are like. Definitely need harder ones like these to improve fluency and ability to attempt.

Previous RCs are easy, understandable, good for practice and increased my confidence level.
The Ones from last week are helpful for reality check, in comparison with CAT papers.
It would be better if this level is maintained and even taking it to the next stage after few days is also fine.

I feel the Rcs need to be closer to the CAT level and the questions should be a mix of easy medium and hard ones like in the cat exam as the passages right now are very discursive and broad and they discourage sometimes because too much time gets spent on understanding the prose rather than on getting the main idea

Even harder. Need to get more and more better. Current level is perfect. I don't think you need to worry much about it Shweta dii.

Mam I feel the main issue coming with RCs' these days is here AI is making the Reading Comprehension passage and it is trying to make it dense and compare that to author who try to convey his thoughts and he uses good vocabulary and dense statements because he want to convey his thoughts in a best way but his final goal is to convey his/her thoughts to the reader and CAT picks passages from such certified authors right ?.so wouldn't it be better if we ask AI to pick paragraphs/Passages from good Article Sources like Aeon,Economist, etc and make questions from it same as how CAT does.
Other than this , it is due to percentyl daily RC habit i am able to do such analysis on reading comprehension I may be completely wrong so Thank you so much!

i think current level is great; these are harder than most CAT RCs and i think it's good for practice.

If it is CAT level, then its fine...but i dont want to be demotivated.

I think tougher RCs only help us build our comprehension skills in the long run. But I would say I had a real problem understanding yesterday's RC passage. To me, it felt like it started from the middle of nowhere and explained events based on the fact that the reader already knows about the events. In an actual CAT paper, if such an RC passage comes, I will definitely leave it out. I think the level of difficulty should be a mixed bag, somewhere between the earlier and the current level.

Ma'am we need full mocks as soon as possible.
Aaditya · 2026-08-09 · 2 helpful
the quality of RCs , recently , has been top notch . just a small feedback - please give us an option to reattempt questions . I would try to reattempt RC in order to identify missing gaps.

Nidhi Pandey · 2026-08-07 · 1 helpful
RCs should be as per CAT level and sometimes slightly tougher than CAT so that we don't get demotivated and also don't get panic on D day after seeing any RC tough
Dhruv · 2026-08-07 · 1 helpful
Get us mocks mam
Ap · 2026-08-07 · 1 helpful
you can provide all types of rc and students can solve as per thier need (easy, hard)
Parth · 2026-08-08 · 1 helpful
RCs are good and the length of it aswell but the topic of the RCs are very unintelligible and also the topics in my opinion are not randomised or vast enough, like i didn't saw any RC from history or philosophy (especially after the difficulty was raised) so i would suggest the topics to be randomised and not just from finance.

While the current RC's are not bad and much of the feedback provided is on the negative side because usually RC in CAT is taken out of articles or editorials which are mainly written by authors for the common person only. So even if difficult, they usually take longer time to understand the main idea, however the flow of the concept is smooth. That is not the case with the current RCs. Flow is not smooth.

Please don't drop level it's only practice and by attempting hard one it's easy to attempt less harder ones.
Abhimaneu · 2026-08-09 · 1 helpful
RC is now lengthier and very tough but for 2 days i get 3 crct but taking 20+ minutes and sometimes confused with option , One doubt is this Exact CAT Level
J.Anchana · 2026-08-09 · 1 helpful
I wish the RCs are of CAT level because it is not only about comprehension it is also about choosing the right answer, interpreting it properly and most of the aspirants are working full time also, they don't have the time to sit with the hard level RCs everyday and try to interpret the passage. Before the RCs were of easy to medium level and it was great practise because I was able to say the reults reflect in mock test. You can clearly take inspirations from Previous year papers and cracku. I request you to provide Rcs of that level

Please add three levels in VARC section easy ,moderate and hard because people like me who just started the presentation cannot solve the hard or moderate RC
I am · 2026-08-11 · 1 helpful
Ma'am please give Pyq in RC so, as my thinking it's better for us.
Shruti Jha · 2026-08-11 · 1 helpful
I think the RCS are either too easy and below the CAT level or too difficult, and so it is not up to the level of actual exam. Earlier hard passages felt like medium and now the sometimes the easy ones felt like tough. I think the team should try to match the level of actual cat exams so doing it would be relevant and helpful for students.
