What free videos/resources to rely completely for CAT preparation?

Asked by Karthick K on 2026-10-05 in CAT Prep

Hi guys, hope everyone doing great with preparation
TBH, I recently got an idea on CAT, and randomly applied for CAT in the very last day

So, im literally have no idea on what resources to follow, how to cover syllabus, as there is less than 60 days
But I surfing on youtube videos, and using claude and chatgpt, i got needed and enough amount of topics needed to get good percentile, and I want to figure out how to cover those topics and to practice well
My only concern is im working professional, very limited to spend time on preparation
So far, I wasted time on finding resources to look on as in youtube there are vast videos relating each sections

By random, I found percentyle and looks really helpful

My only question is that, in resources section in this platform, we can see videos right, for each section, for each topics

Shall I follow and refer those videos only, bcoz im thinking that I should limit the reference resource to watch and understand

Can someone help me on this plz

Thanks and wishing all the best on preparation

Hey! I’m also preparing for CAT, and I completely understand the confusion, especially when you’re working and have limited time.

Regarding Percentyl, you can actually use the **Resources section on the left side**. It has videos arranged section-wise and topic-wise, covering the different chapters. So instead of searching randomly through hundreds of YouTube videos, you can use those resources to find the topics you need in a more organized way.

I would suggest making Percentyl your main resource for learning the concepts, and then spending more time on **practice, PYQs, and mocks**. Since you have less than 60 days, I think it’s better to keep your resources limited rather than switching between different teachers and YouTube channels.

You can go through the topics according to your own preparation level and make a plan that works with your job schedule. Learn the concept → practice questions → analyse your mistakes → move ahead.

All the best! With limited time, I think having one organized resource and being consistent with it can make things much easier. 👍
