How do you guys analyse your VARC Section after a mock?

Asked by Omkar on 2026-10-08 in CAT Prep

I have been struggling to figure out a way to improve my VARC mock analysis. For DILR and Quant, my performance has been steadily improving because my mistakes are predictable, but with VARC I am unable to grapple where to improve, My accuracy is ~50% attempting ~15-18 questions on avg.

And honestly, i am running out of options to improve at this point.

Can someone give me like a detailed understanding of what's the best way to deal with this?

1. Try to analyse your mistakes using chatgpt. You can upload the passage and questions + your answers to check where are you going wrong
2. Try to improve your accuracy by daily attempting RC's in a time bound manner.
3. For any mock, in VARC see if you got 1/2/3/4 questions correct for a particular RC. Analyse it RC wise and then question type wise
