How do you guys reduce silly calculation errors in QA?

Asked by Anonymous on 2026-10-16 in CAT Prep

Hey everyone! I have been preparing for CAT and have covered most of the QA syllabus, but I still make calculation errors while solving questions, especially in mocks. Sometimes I know the right approach but end up losing marks because of silly arithmetic mistakes
For those who have managed to improve their calculation accuracy, what worked for you? Did you practise mental maths daily, solve calculation drills, or follow some other strategy?
Would love to hear your suggestions!

For me cross checking every step is what I do. means if any step involves 3*4 then before going to next step verify 3*4
