Hi everyone, I have a doubt regarding CAT 2026 registration.
My name is spelled one way in all my educational and other official documents, but my Caste Validity Certificate has a slightly different spelling of my surname.
I also have a **Gazette document confirming that both name variations belong to the same person**. However, my caste validity was previously rejected due to the surname mismatch.
Should I fill the CAT form according to the name on my educational documents and upload the caste validity with the different surname spelling, along with the Gazette as supporting proof?
Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows whether CAT/IIMs accept this during document verification? Any guidance would be appreciated. 🙏
