Having problems focusing

Asked by Anonymous on 2026-07-10 in CAT Prep

I have been preparing for CAT since Jan, but I only got serious about it since April. However, given that I have a very demanding job. I find it very difficult to study and focus every single day without feeling exhaustion, burnout and just overall frustration. How do I fix this?

Do not take the pressure, 6months of CAT prep is sufficient to score good percentyl. Focus on concepts on LRDI and QUANT during Non work hours or Weekoffs, During work hours you can check for a RC Passage or maybe solve basic questions on QUANT. Do LRDI strictly when you have sufficient time to complete entire set

Just like your job deadlines, Fix a dedicated target for the day with respect to CAT prep and try achieving it.
initially start with small targets, like, 1 DILR set/ 1 Rc/ 10 Quants, be it anything, and with time just keep increasing the targets.
Mainly do this in a particular time and not random so that you want that thing to complete in that particular time and not postpone it. Happy Learning !!
