I did faced difficulty starting quants ....at my early phase but the thing is you just have do it anyway ..do the same foundational concepts again and again until you start doing it unconsciously.
Start from the very basics percentage ratios equations eventually you'll find yourself doing much better .
The only key is to do it everyday no matter what

Hey,
Honestly coming from a non engineering background, I faced the same challenge. I spent alot of time jumping around and figuring out what to study and what not to. In a way I am still figuring out however here are few things I am doing that is currently working for me -
I have made a list of all the topics in quant, starting from basic to advanced.
I take one topic at a time.
As for resources I watch Udit sir's video (MBA Pathshala). He is amazing and explains really well. Once I have watched all the videos by him of that particular topic, I will look for previous year questions and solve them.
Ideally, you should focus on clearing your foundation. Focus on building on basics. Once you have covered foundation of all the topics you can focus on building up your speed. that's where mock and sectional tests come in.
Hope this helps :)
