if i scored 53% in 12th and also had a not-so-great score in10th, how can i still prepare for IIM ? Do skills matter more, or does the 10/12th score still count? which colleges and what kind of courses should i look at as alternatives or backup steps?

heyy niharika,top IIMs and many top Bschool does need a good past academics but dont worry,there are many good business school that does not need stellar spikes in your past academics

Got it, thankyou! Could you let me know which B-schools you think are good, especially ones that don't emphasize stellar academic scores? I'd like to make a list so i can focus my efforts in the right direction.
