Joining tier 3 college because of 3 year gap, should i appear for cat 2026?

My profile is 8/8/8, and I have 3 years gap now. That`s why I am planning to go to a tier 2-3 college, but I want to give the CAT 2026 along with college. Please guide.

Please check how much would that cost and if that is something you'd want? It is better to look for a job instead in case that is an option.
