Mock score

Asked by Anonymous on 2026-10-10 in CAT Prep

Can anyone help me improve my mock scores? This is only my second mock, but I have completed the entire syllabus and finished my revision; I’ve even gone through half of the Arun Sharma books. However, my score is very low. Does anyone have any suggestions or a strategy to help me boost my score?

Since this is only your second mock, don’t worry too much about the score. Completing the syllabus and scoring well in mocks are two different things. Focus on analysing your mocks rather than solving more questions. Identify whether you're losing marks due to conceptual gaps, time management, accuracy, or poor question selection. Reattempt the questions you got wrong or left unattempted and understand where you went wrong. Consistent mock analysis is what will help you improve. All the best! 💯

watch a few (2-3 only) yt videos of how to attempt mocks + how to do mock analysis. don't panic right now, it takes atleast 5 mocks to adapt to the exam pattern and everything. work towards question selection and try to learn from every mistake that you made in the mock. for every mock keep a record of (achieved score vs potential score).
