Need honest advice

Asked by Mahima on 2026-10-31 in CAT Prep

Guys i genuinely want to get into fms Delhi...it's my main target for cat2026

What percentile should i aim for and how many questions should i target getting right in each section...my varc and lrdi prep is going on but I am struggling with quant. I can solve only 2- 3 questions within the time limit. I can solve basic questions but I know thats not sufficient. I have covered arithmetic, algebra and number System

I would really appreciate some honest guidanc!!

I'm on the same boat... Targeting fms and quants isn't working for me

it probably lie in between 99.5 to 100 and tbh getting a call for 99.5 is very rare so focus anywhere above 98 and while applying make sure u gave them a solid sop and i would say score somewhere around 110 the least and make sure to ace in al 3 subjects and u should be more focusing on 1 subject of ur choice

its already showdown time so cover only 40 to 50% of whole syllabus i mean obvioiusly select the highest weightage chapters and make sure u gonna cover 80 to 90% of those chapters make sure to analyse ur mocks
all the very best(:

Focus on 99+ percentile overall, as there is no sectional cutoff, try to get atleast 5questions right in QA and the rest score from dilr and varc. Happy Prepping !!
