Need some genuine guidance for CAT 2026

Asked by Aditya Pandey on 2026-10-01 in CAT Prep

I’ve been preparing VARC on and off, but haven’t touched Quant or DILR yet, and haven’t attempted any mocks either. With limited time left, I’m honestly quite anxious.

What should my strategy be from here? Should I start mocks immediately, focus on basics + PYQs, and how should I prioritize the three sections?

Would really appreciate some practical advice from anyone who’s been in a similar situation. Please help a fellow guy out 🙏

I just started a couple weeks back and i must say start working on QUANTs as soon as possible especially Arithmetic and Algebra which is around 70% of Quant and as for the other two(DILR & VARC) start practicing consistently and analyze you mistakes to build the pattern recognition, PYQs are the best resource for DILR and VARC, so check 'em with vigorous concern.

And start giving mocks on weekends as to build the pattern and on the weekdays, spend more time on analyzing the mistake and why it felt like the actual answer.
I hope this may really help.
