Need some guidance Shweta di

Asked by Sneha Biswas on 2026-05-17 in CAT Prep

Hi di. This is Sneha. I'm a working professional and I work 6 days a week. I'm really facing trouble with providing time for my cat preparation. Yet I'm trying my best to follow the schedule on this website. Watching videos as well as practicing sums first from Arun Sharma and if there are more no. of questions mentioned then I practice from the sites you have provided.
Di actually yesterday I purchased the DashCATs from Cracku and I was also planning on buying IMS test series. You had mentioned that Oswal past year papers are really helpful since they are divided based on sections.
Di, i really wanted some guidance as to how should I manage all of this. The routine for concept building ends on 31st August.
So, there are LOD 2 sums from Arun Sharma; Oswal PYQs; Cracku DashCATs and IMS test series which I need to practice. How should I divide all of this. Is there anything di which is not much needed or if everything is important how should I distribute it and prepare so that I am able to crack cat with 99+ percentile.
Really looking forward for your reply di. I'm really messed up here.

Firstly, you're doing great Sneha! I feel like you're one of those serious aspirants who leave no stone unturned, so kudos to you for that.
I think you should limit the material as it will become overwhelming. Conceptual videos + AS's Level 1 is sufficient for now. You can also start taking DashCATs alongside over weekends. Continue this till Aug end. Once you finish the syllabus, you can get IMS's test series and based on your scores you can pick up AS's Level 2 questions + extra practice Qs from the site if needed. Oswaal's PYQs can be taken after analyzing the mock scores. If you feel you're scoring well, you can directly solve PYQs online rather than through a book. Oswaal's book helps if you wish to improve chapter-wise concepts after analyzing mocks. You already have ample material.
