Hey everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone else feels the same way while preparing for Quant.
Every time I start Quant, I feel like I'm starting from scratch. I understand concepts when I study them, but after some time, when I try solving questions, I forget everything—even simple problems sometimes feel difficult. I get stuck and end up using completely unnecessary methods.
Then when I check the solution, I'm like, “Oh, this was so simple. I knew these steps. Why didn't I think of them while solving?” 😭
I don't know what's exactly holding me back. Is this normal? Do others also forget concepts they learned earlier and struggle to recall the right approach while solving?

Very very relatable. We have to just keep practicing, view solutions when necessary. Slowly things would click automatically.

I have seen that especially on arithmetic..at times the solution was so simple rather than the lengthy scribble that I have done 😭😅.but once a certain pattern of question is stuck on our memory,if a slightly similar ques appears it becomes at least 60% solvable
