please someone answer this, it is very important question

Asked by Anonymous on 2026-04-06 in CAT Prep

Hey everyone, I need some honest guidance.
I’m preparing for CAT 2026 and come from a government school background where I didn’t get proper teaching in 9th–10th (COVID period). Because of that, my math foundation is very weak.
I’m struggling with core basics like division, fractions/decimals, and understanding algebra steps (like shifting terms and sign changes). Because of this, both Quant and LRDI feel difficult.
I’m willing to put in daily effort, but I’m confused about how to build from this level.
My questions:
How should I start building my basics from this level?
Should I pause CAT material and first focus only on basic math?
What topics should I prioritize first so that it helps both Quant and LRDI?
Would really appreciate practical advice from someone who started weak in math and improved.

So someone being my mentor and copititor anyone want pls give reply.

Scored 77% in 10th, 74% in 12th, 73% in BCom year 1; targeting 75% in year 2.
College had no activities or exposure.
I didn’t build skills or learn computers, so I regret the last two years.
