I m solving 2 RC regularly from oswal 25yr topicwise pyq book.Rc's with topics Environmental and life science, science and technology, economics and management i have done with little difficulty. But when rc's of topics like history, literature, art, politics, contemporary starts coming, i m not able to do that. I have wasted approx 4-5 days but didnt able to do single rc. Anyone facing similar problem? Also pls provide me solution how should i proceed further with rc's and from which source. As now by these pyq's of topics literature, history I m feeling very much demotivated

read more on the topics you are not comfortable with , (aeon essays or chatgpt or both ) you need not understand every word, but the main idea+ flow of the passage . if it's a difficult passage still try to solve 1 question correctly and solve the other passage.

I think you’re putting too much pressure on yourself to get every RC right. Since you’re comfortable with science and economics passages, your basic comprehension is probably not the only issue; unfamiliar writing styles and abstract arguments might be making things harder. Instead of leaving history or literature RCs after getting them wrong, analyse why each option is incorrect and identify the author’s main argument. Practise a mix of topics from actual CAT PYQs rather than doing topic-wise RCs exclusively. Don’t spend days trying to master one topic. With limited time left, focus on improving your reasoning and accuracy across different passage types. One difficult topic doesn’t mean you’re bad at RC!
