Quant Preparation Strategy Along with Classes

Asked by Anonymous on 2026-08-26 in CAT Prep

I wanted to know what strategy you would suggest for dealing with Quant along with regular classes. How should one balance class lectures, concept revision, practice questions, and PYQs without getting overwhelmed? Also, is it better to complete one topic thoroughly before moving to the next, or practice multiple topics simultaneously? Would be helpful to know how you would approach it overall.

I’d avoid trying to do everything at once after each class revise the concepts and solve a decent number of questions from that topic then do PYQs once you’re comfortable finish the basics of one topic before moving on but keep revising older topics alongside it so you don’t forget them like new topic practice and 20 to 30 mins revision of an old topic daily don’t wait to finish the entire syllabus before starting mixed practice once you’ve covered a few topics start mixing them so you get used to identifying which concept to apply and keep mocks/sectionals in the routine
