since you are from eng background you should make quants your strongest section. instead of trying to complete full syllabus focus on only 2 topics in quants that is arithmetiic and algebra.
for varc first check all the different types of question in rcs and understand them and then jump staight into solving rcs. for va simply understand how to solve them and practice
for dilr there is not set way to understand as all the sets are different and unpredictable. for dilr simply practice as much as you can.
