How are self-preppers tackling question practice?

Asked by Anshika Singh on 2026-06-22 in CAT Prep

Hey guys, I am self-studying for CAT and need advice on question practice.
Books: Are you using standard books (like Arun Sharma), or skipping them?
Test Series: Is buying a test series + sectionals enough for daily practice?
Resources: Which specific question banks or mocks do you recommend?
Thanks!

As a self-studying aspirant, sometimes we can't completely rely on a single source of questions, and also mocks, we can't completely rely on mocks, i'm using the pdf's of CL,Elites grid assignments to solve the questions alongside with arun sharma, but for varc, arun sharma looks outdated, practicing rc's from gmat club gmat rc 1000 series, which is free, it has helped way positively to comprehend and tackle the traps in cat rc's

Hi, I am also self-studying for the CAT, and I am mainly using Arun Sharma Books, YouTube, Percentyl and Clymber(For VARC). And mocks and sectional I have not yet started, but yupp I have bought it. This is for now more than enough for me, and yes, AI help for mistake analysis is god's help for me. You should also try.
