What should I do if I go completely blank while solving Quant questions, especially previous-year questions?

Asked by Hannah Elsa Abraham on 2026-08-20 in CAT Prep

Sometimes I understand the question, but I can't figure out the right approach or method to solve it. How should I handle such situations and improve my problem-solving approach so that I can eventually recognize which concept or method to use

CAT exam only follows particular que patterns for quant especially,so when solving PYQs try to remember the pattern. Patterns are mostly similar, everything depends on how efficiently we practiced.I mean quality over quantity.
Even I struggle with the same as you🫠.

I would suggest that you must give Quant sectional tests regularly + you should practise the previous year CAT Quants questions TOPICWISE. They are available on Cracku / 2IIM Website as free pdf's
