How do I start DILR prep

Asked by Parth Taur on 2026-07-16 in CAT Prep

I've been preparing for about a month now. I've completed Arithmetic and have been consistently practicing RCs and Verbal Ability. I've also taken 2–3 mocks, but my scores aren't improving. In my latest mock, I scored 40 overall (VARC: 27, QA: 10, DILR: 3). I think I'm doing well in VARC, and I'm confident my Quant score will improve as I complete the syllabus. However, I'm really struggling with DILR.....I can make a few deductions from a set, but I always get stuck midway and can't solve even a single set completely. How should I start preparing for DILR?

There are some daily challenge playlists on YouTube. If you try doing 3-4 problems per day, it will improve the way you see the problems, and there will be overall improvement for sure.

Also, please can you share how you have completed arithmetic in 1 month and can solve quants well? Any tips, please... like which books did you refer to other than percentyl.com
