Starting my CAT prep today. Can i make it?

Hi, I'm starting my CAT preparation today. I can study for 7–8 hours daily. I'd say I'm above average in logical reasoning (not specifically LRDI, but logical aptitude in general).

Will I be able to make it? I'm not doubting myself—I'm just trying to understand what the ideal preparation timeline for CAT is. I've gone through the syllabus, and it seems manageable.

My main question is this: for exams like JEE, people usually need at least 1–1.5 years of preparation. What is the ideal preparation timeline for CAT? I've often heard that many high-percentilers start preparing only 3–4 months before the exam. Is that actually true?

This is an aptitude exam. If you practice consistently then you can make it. So start studying. All the best. 3-4 months is good but there is no room for slack. Stay tight with your studies.
