Question

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i believe that if we look at past Quants questions; approx. 4-5 questions are of LOD 3.        
  So  wouldn't it be a better strategy to have 10 on 10 ability in LOD 1 & 2 rather than practicing LOD 3. 
   Not than i will ignore them completely but they are really time consuming.

at times concepts are jumbled and asked, u cant rely on LOD 1 and 2, cat 2017 had an entire set i.e, 4 questions on probablity and permutations was asked in LRDI section that is often skipped by 99% of students, generally only 2-3 q of this topics are asked in QA section

Solving LOD 3 actually helps you solving LOD 2 Faster.(I scored 95%ile in quant last year and it’s my second attempt)
