Where u will see the passage bearing simple language not tough language+ high vocab words ,,, passage starts with understandable language,, also keep in mind that questions pattern

quickest filter is topic -business, economy, social science and current affairs are usually easier while philosophy, abstract art and literary criticism are the tough ones. also check sentence length, short crisp sentences mean easy RC, long winding ones with semicolons and dashes mean tough. scan the first para in 20 seconds, if you got the gist its a go, if you had to reread 3 times just leave it.

I Personally do random reading 1 to 3 words entire passage for 4-5 seconds ; if words sounds comfortable not too many fancy vocab , I hit the Review button and move to next and after reading 4 passage , I get back to those I selected.
