I would say more than reading articles start solving RCs only for now and try to look just for broad and balanced answers in the options just eliminate personal opinion words like some judgemental words which sound negative upon reading, extra information in the option which is not given in the passage and specific lines from the passage these are the biggest traps which are in the options as all these are inference questions you need to master the art of eliminating and inferring the passage in your head what the passage is talking about and what specific line it is referring to and for strengthen and weaken part look you need get a little summary in your head about what the passage is about and what it is talking about like is it arguing, balanced tone or alarming stuff like that and try to find the lines the options can help in strengthen or weaken this will come only if you practice enough and calmly solve enough RCs for first few days don't think about the timer your only target should be 4/4 in the RC as you start getting all the correct your speed will ultimately improve and practice PYQs right now as these are the best resource you can do right now once you start getting enough correct you are sorted in the VARC section.

justtt try to focus on rc and solve 2 of them correctly 8 question select the topic which u find easy it doesn't matter if the passage is big the thing that matters is if u are able to understand it or not

If you can understand newspapers, books and articles but struggle with RC questions, your issue might not be comprehension but understanding the author’s argument and what the question is actually testing. For strengthen/weaken questions, first identify the author’s main conclusion, then ask what assumption connects the evidence to that conclusion. For strengthen, look for an option that supports that connection; for weaken, look for one that breaks it. Avoid options that are related to the topic but don’t affect the argument. Also, try reviewing every wrong answer after a mock and note why you fell for it. Practising this way helped me understand that RC is as much about reasoning as reading.

I suck too but the only approach you can use is elimination, its the best if u master it and try to understand what question is asking more than the whole rc comprehension.
