I completely understand the frustration but the thing is you have to put yourself in their shoes and think what they're exactly looking for.
B-schools make money from students who join. Students join based on placement record and brand reputation. Placement and brand reputation both are related to quality of recruiters. And recruiters want great talent.
So, if a B-school has to make money, they need to find students who are placement-worthy i.e. can be placed easily at top firms.
Now evaluate yourself from that lens:
- your skills
- certifications/achievements
- existing work experience/internships
- real life problem solving/projects
- communication skills/personality
- critical thinking/problem solving abilities
Develop these core skills. Hope it helps ❤️
