Is it mandatory to give interview only in english ? Can we not give interview in hindi

If the interview we cannot give in Hindi, then starting the preparation wouldn't be useful. I am simply asking to clarify this

IIM interviews are conducted in English, and clear communication is an evaluated parameter. While panellists are understanding if you pause to gather your thoughts, preparing your answers in English is essential for PI.
