Are these points good enough to stand out in an IIMA interview?

Asked by Kajal Shaw on 2026-04-04 in GDPI / Interviews

I am a female general candidate with a profile of 9/7/8 BCOM(H). I will give CAT 26. I am currently writing a novel of my own and also a research paper independently on an interesting topic: Egyptian mummies. I like to read novels and have a podcast where I review them. I am also learning Spanish.
I have completed Tally and Advance Excel courses. But I haven't done any internships, I am not getting any, and now, as only 8 months are left for CAT, I have thought about leaving the internship hunt and focusing on CAT prep.
I wanted to know if my profile is interesting and unique enough to stand out at the IIMA interview, as that's my dream college. Will the lack of internships be a negative point for me? I am concerned about that as I am a fresher.
Honest Review, please.
