Re-exam student in 1st and 2nd semester. Will this affect my cat interviews and getting admission?

Hey everyone, wanted to get some perspective from people who've been through the IIM admission process.

My situation: After 12th i was preparing for neet but i also got admission into a local college in bsc life science to not waste any year. Because of that I missed my 1st and 2nd semester exams as a regular student. I appeared for both in my 2nd year as a re-exam student. My official marksheets for those semesters clearly mention "re student."
From 3rd sem onwards I've been a regular student.
I am targeting cat 2026.

My questions:
Has anyone been in a similar situation during IIM WAT-PI or verification?
Will this be flagged during document verification at IIMs?
If the interviewer asks about it, how should I address it ?
Does this affect conversion chances if I get a call?

not exact but i retook 1 exam in sem 3 to improve marks n marksheet mentioned it was a reattempt but no one asked about it. so don't worry it is normal.

Rashmi is absoluetly right, it is considered normal and most interviewers won't ask anything. Even if they do just tell them the truth and that is it.
